And the pig can grouse (if he’s in a complaining mood).

All the corvids (NOT covids) have some ability to mimic. We had a blue jay around here who had learned how to sound like one of the local hawks. He’d show up, make a hawk sound, all the small birds would scatter, and he’d get to high-grade the peanuts from the bird food. Naturally, we called him “Jay Hawk”. Haven’t seen/heard him in a few years, though. Sic transit gloria corvidi.
