Desk calendars still have their purpose. New Yorkers can’t throw their iPhone calendars out the window on New Years Eve.

I suppose this means there is no “Frazz” desk calendar.

Caulfield may have just made an assumption and jumped to a conclusion. How do we (how can we) really know that time doesn’t shrink by one sheet every hour.

Maybe time is shrinking like things seem to be on Brewster Rockit:

The older I get, the faster time moves.

Desk calendars are for indicating the passage of time in cinema.

My Mom uses a desk calendar on the kitchen wall. Much easier for older eyes.

It’s just a bite-size piece of infinity, savored one lick at a time.

Caulfield, about your last statement… Your assumption is based on an incorrect principle.

I get a desk calander every year of one of my favorite comics because it’s not in my local paper, not in gocomics and you have to pay to see them on its web site.

I have one on my desk – some days there is a certain satisfaction in seeing at least the calendar get turned as an accomplishment, and a certain desperation that I’m not getting enough done.

I remember having to have a Daytimer to log hours spent on projects. Refills were $$$

Again I need help here. What is this stack they speak of and what does Caulfield mean when he says it used to be thicker?

“And you run, and you run to catch up with the sun but it’s sinking

Racing around to come up behind you again

The sun is the same in a relative way but you’re older

Shorter of breath and one day closer to death"

Sometimes I miss them. They were a fun way to start the day, a good reminder of which day it was, and a handy source of note paper.

I know desk calendars. I’ve used a couple different kinds. Some you tear off the page and others you turn the page. Either way I don’t see how this makes any sense at all. Anyone?
