The party is in the attic? And since it’s Halloween, when the veil between this world and the spirit world is the thinnest, does this mean everyone can see the ghost kitties?
Georgia – my screen is not big enough to enlarge to see your great details. Can you give us a hint, a cheat sheet to find everything and who’s what character?
I love every little detail, even the ones I haven’t found yet. Of course my favorite is Tillie and Puck dancing together. A true testament to the idea that friendship never dies.
Yesterday we talked about favorite scary movies. What about favorite short stories or novels? I think my 3 scariest short stories are “The Cask of Amontillado” by Poe, “The Monkey’s Paw” by W. W, Jacobs, and “A Rose for Emily” by Faulkner. Even though I didn’t care for the movies, I thought “The Exorcist” and “Rosemary’s Baby” were good horror novels. My favorite Stephen King is “The Dead Zone.”
Love this! I saved the image as a PDF so we can go through it at leisure (and more than once if desired)! Such fun; I love each and every one of the ‘Hide and Seek’ strips so much!
Thank you Georgia Dunn, for this and for everything you do all through the year!
Sultan is watching horror movies with us, he has been all month .. proud of our boy! :) There’s a photo of it on my Insta, we’re on the original “Halloween” series right now!
Wow, there is so much to unpack in Georgia’s art today. However, I think this is one of my all-time favorite strips and, if it is offered to purchase, I may ask Santa for a copy.
Loch Ness Monster, I love it! A friend and I watched Scooby-Doo and the Loch Ness Monster “together” last night. It was mostly a gab-fest, but great memories from our childhood just the same. (Not that particular episode though, it is newer)
Queen Catshepsut the Golden: Thank you, one and all for attending the Bunny Banquet. And now to celebrate the Feast of Candy, Thomios is bringing out the cat and rabbit friendly chocolate. Take as much as you want.
Lupinium: So no one is going to tell me to put the candy back.
Elvis-Anum: No, but be careful around the candles.
Tabith-Isis: And now we will tell scary stories as we celebrate.
King Lapin: I would like to tell you the story of the green bunnies. It appears that once some bunnies ate food that made them strong, but boring conversationalists.
Puckmosis: That is scary. But I understand there is more to it.
King Lapin: Yes, it will end well, but it has yet to happen.
Serfig-Aro: It is my pleasure to announce that a scavenger hunt will commence after the festivities. Then we will forget all about the Feast of Candy and prepare for the Feast of Gratitude.
Only problem for me with the end of the Grim Tech escape is I want to know how they came to the BPH? Were the two outdoor mice already living there? Did they ever see any of the bunnies again? Sorry, but that’s how my mind works!
Got everything but the unicorn. Was gonna ask if Natasha or the Golden Mouse was the third Musketeer, but I think Natasha is Marian.
And remember folks, if you haven’t already done so now’s the time to watch It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and Garfield’s Halloween Adventure (aka Garfield in Disguise). Throw those horror films out the window and watch these.

There’s Elvis and there’s Pucky
There’s Lupin and there’s Goldie
They’re all together furry
The BCN family
Their house is a news medium
Where people come to see ’em
They really are such good chums
The BCN family.
So put a kitty’s paws on
A camera you can claws on
We’re gonna go and calls on
The BCN family
They’re crazy and they’re cuddly
All pouncy and bouncy
They’re owlvase so kooky
The BCN family

Callin’ out the netherworld
Are you ready for us all to meet?
Autumn’s here and the moon is bright
C’mon, did you get Bea’s tweet?
It’s an invitation to a Halloween sensation
A chance for old friends to meet
There’ll be laughing, singing and music swinging
And dancing to a spooky beat
Oh, it doesn’t matter what you wear
Just as long as you are there
So let’s get down, each cat and mouse
in the attic of a haunted house
A lovely strip, it’s one boo-tiful feat
Georgia Dunn, thanks so much for this happy, spooky treat!

I’ll be back when I feel better (soon, I hope!)
Thanks in advance,
