Yikes.

This makes me so glad that I’m a dude.

(Yes, I am aware that it’s actually medically possible for men to go through male menopause, but still).

It takes time. ✨

Told you so, it is cold shower time.

The wheels keep turning but there is no progress. Better get out the tire chains.

I was concerned when it appeared that last week’s arc was going to continue, but it seems pretty clear that it was dropped, after all.

Interesting change: Instead of Frank as doofus jokes, now we get Nancy and menopause jokes.

Karen, what are you thinking?

as someone said, somany challenges women have can be attributed to men… Men-opause, Men-stration, His-terectomy…

Bernice is putting Nancy to sleep.

Gosh, I can’t imagine why that cup of hot tea isn’t soothing the hot flash (I am being sarcastic). And I can’t imagine why this conversation is happening!

Bernice, I’m not up to speed any more, but you’re a good example of why they don’t put Volkswagon Beetle engines in high performance Shelby Mustangs.

I think most of us are glad to know Bern is experiencing hormonal rampage. I wanna see the Wild Woman bring it on.

Hormones hit us all pretty hard. I used to wish they’d leave me alone so I could concentrate on other things. Used to? Well, back then too.

If these two are feeling so hot, wouldn’t they feel better if they were wearing a LOT less?

Poor Bernice, she doesn’t like to feel that kind of drivers at all and doesn’t want to have them because she can’t control them. But it’s nice to see how a character who is always trying to rationalize everything finds herself in front of a totally irrational part of her. I really hope Nancy can help her understand how to live with them and accept these drivers. Like a good therapist would do.

All they have to do is set the turkey between Bern and Nancy, and it will cook from all the heat they are generating.

My mother would get horrible hot flashes, and I’d hold a fan up in front of her face while she’d sit in her chair and drink ice water..

I kinda thought that there’d be a Sunday type holiday strip today.

Wow today’s Luann comic is pretty “hot”.

I’m relieved to see that at least in this strip today there’s no mention of Thanksgiving, which after all is befitting in the DeGroot household, where thanks is almost never given for anything.

I love this arc

I was one of the “lucky” ones. I had very few hot flashes. I suffered from insomnia and still do!!!!

I understand that feeling of wanting it to go away. Even we males get that feeling sometimes.

A friend of mine was going through puberty while her mother was going through menopause. That household got colorful for a while.

Jeremy’s mom from “Zits” had funnier hot flashes….
