He’s too stupid to actually write a complete book. All he can accomplish is cliff notes.

The crocs can read and write, just not all that properly.

But some of the crocs (the wife and child) seem quite literate.

I had a friend in college named Clifton, and yes, we all called him Cliff. Cliff was a music major in piano, guitar, and music theory. I was passing his room one evening and heard him playing a guitar arrangement of Für Elise. I stuck my head in the door and asked, “Beethoven?” He smiled, and said, “Just the Cliff’s notes version.” Well, it was hilarious at the time. 8>)

What does their being predators have to do with anything? Would herbivores be more likely to read books? (As for being illiterate, maybe the crocs listen to audio books.)

I do wonder why Zebah opens his doors to the Crocs. Maybe it has to do with his utter lack of faith in their hunting ability.

Always excited for alligators appearance. I like Larry a million times better that Rat, Pig and Goat. Larry and family should spin off to their own strip. Could be called “Larry Eat Zeba.”
