Okay Mr. Dentist. What’s the difference between local and out of town anesthetic ?
Give me the heavy stuff, and I will Uber home.
Maybe something strong enough to hold you while commuting afterwards? Gonna be a fun trip.
“‘No’ … or … ‘Yes’ and ‘Yes’.”
“I would like the local anesthetic AND I am from out of town.”
That’s stupid. Why would anyone go to a non-local dentist?
Depends on the insurance coverage.
Local is better than strange in this case. Or foreign in this case. And general in this case. In any case….
Having learned from a bad experience, I would interpret that question to be from a new or inept dentist and cancel my appointment on the spot!
Henny? Is that you? Alive and doing comics? It’s a comic strip miracle!
Rural anesthetic. A hammer.
ah… a spit bowl. and a belt-driven drill .. haven’t seen one of those setups in over 30 years…! RUN Ernie, RUN…!
I don’t use anything. I want to transcend dental medication.
Depends on what you’re doing. If you’re taking out a wisdom tooth, knock me out of town.
I always buy home-town anesthetic… I’m a localsnore.
Oh, man! This is reminding me of an old “Carol Burnett” sketch in which Tim Conway injected his hand, thigh, and head instead of Harvey Korman’s jaw. (Spoiler: Korman’s bum tooth got knocked out.)
Doesn’t anesthetic mean “not esthetic”? So he’s getting artless dentistry?
