So this is the week where Frank shoots down all his daughters hopes and aspirations.

So Luann does impressions now?

Looks more like Ed Sullivan to me.

And he left with the “I got a shot at her smile.” Like I said last week, end this arc.

Mocking and belittling your student isn’t a good look for you. If you can’t take him seriously how will you help. You’re going to need his respect when you shut down his infatuation with you.

Leave Luann alone about her room. Cut the snide remarks. Let her keep it any way she wants to. Ironically, when I said nothing to my kids about their messy rooms, they got sick of the mess themselves and cleaned it up.

Or the “Why should I help you do anything around the house” attitude my dad used to give my mom.

When Frank and Nancy make “comments” about Luann’s room, they set a trap for Luann. If she cleans her room, THEY take credit for it and Luann gets none.

Feels like a Sunday strip.

Someone said it last week, this is feeling like it is getting cringe worthy. I hope Frank’s script includes putting Luann back on the straight and narrow. Maybe Bernice can straighten her out.

Luann is taking such great pride in her “work” that it’s bound to backfire on her sooner or later.

How long will it be before Lu gets a dozen roses from a “secret admirer?”

(Nah. “Roses” is not Axel’s “style.”)

How long will it be before Axel invites Lu to the next Thundercat concert?

And later, how long will it be before Luann decides to “patch” things up between Axel and Fay(e), just to get him off her back? ;-)

It’s nice to see Luann so happy and satisfied. Being a tutor is no more a pain for her and even Frank is (in his way) supportive. Maybe this will change when she understands what Axel think it’s happening, maybe not. But for now, let her be happy ♡

Getting back to LuAnn, I didn’t realize she was so smart. She seemed to know a lot about Lincoln and the Gettysburg Address. The way she handled Axle she would make a good teacher. Axle’s motives are another issue.
