Music and dancing but I don’t see any tussle’n!

Yay! Even the robber mice gang is at the party!

One, two, three…and I count all four mice!

I couldn’t see the sofa at first, but I think Goldie and Sophie are dancing on the couch’s arms?

Even Elvis is togged out for Tusslemania.

First song that came to my mind: Everybody Wang Chung tonight!

Looks like Elvis finally found his groove!

I wonder if they started with ‘Everybody wants to be a Cat’? And I see D.J. Kool Kat brought the Gang.

Burt finally made it. Looks like he’s taken over the entertainment/music. And even Elvis is having a good time. I do hope the people don’t walk in unexpectedly though and that Bea can get it all cleaned up before they return.

Even Destry and Tortimer have joined the fun. And I spy Elvis and Tabitha toe beans!

I finally figured out why I like Beatrix so much. We had a nurse in the trauma ward who was always so cheerful and positive. Young men would be coming through there with horrific injuries, we would piece them back together, but we couldn’t fix their traumatic stress.

Our nurse “Bea” would smile, coax them out of bed and keep them moving. She was so light and energetic, that even the lowest of the patients would do as she commanded, get some sun, or smile for her, even when they could think of nothing else to smile about.

I don’t recollect her having larger than usual paws, but she was an angel. I think I am going to call her today, and just say “Hi” .

I hope Burt left the monitors on autopilot so Trevor can watch the virtual party from the safety of the bookstore and that Beatrix can sneak some treats back to him.

Georgia, if you’re reading comments today, keep this one in mind for submission for the 2022 Reuben awards! Even though it is part of a story arc, it can stand alone. The joy is the good kind of contagious!

Burt brought a complete DJ set-up! Makes me wonder if the ladies in the barn have some rockin’ parties.

If Elvis is down to party, I wonder if some of the snacks contained a bit of nip.

Love that the wrestlemania theme continues as the party theme, and I noticed that Goldie is repping as my old favorite Rowdy Roddie Piper! And I love seeing Sophie continuing to participate and enjoy herself!

Brilliant! That is a wonderful panel that I hope gets used elsewhere. As always, too many things to comment on! I knew Burt would be the DJ, and I like Sophie and Goldie dancing on the couch, Puck dancing with Tabitha, the awaited entry of the Robber Mice into this story (I wonder if Agnes brought her Elvis 3:16 sign), and Elvis finally enjoying himself. So much to love!

Here is a picture of our new cat King. He’s taken over the chair. He has to be around people, we’ve noticed. This morning @6:20, Hub went to roll over and a loud “meow” woke us both up! King was laying against Hub’s back while almost on the pillow. No idea when he arrived as he was sleeping in the chair during our early morning sojourn. (Y’all know what I mean.) lol

When he met my friend last night, he jumped down from the chair and immediately jumped up on the couch where she sat down, and wanted pets from her, then started licking her hand. Hubby can’t seem to let him alone, always wanting to pet him and talk to him. LOL

NOW it’s a party!

My cat Vivekat was the most social cat I’ve ever had. She was a petite grey-and-white named after an actress friend. When I lived in Pasadena, I would walk to the store and she would follow me as far as the corner at Colorado Blvd., where she played with a cat friend in a desert garden, until joining up with me when I came back.

Other cats would come visit her and scratched a pine carport support to matchstick thickness in two years. She was extraordinarily popular for a spayed cat. I didn’t leave food outside, either; it was pure personality.

In Santa Cruz, I lived two blocks from the beach at Pleasure Point in a converted garage with a large patio outside. I would give catnip parties for her friends (as I have mentioned before). There would be six or seven cats. Some would sniff the catnip, some would eat it, others roll in it. There was one cat who came to every party but just sat in the corner and criticized the others for using it. Good times!
