Have Luann’s parents ever complimented her? It seems like all they ever do is criticize her. No wonder she has no ambition, their constant carping has told her it doesn’t pay to ever try.

Puddles and I agree about the appropriate reaction to this particular message from Luann and Bernice.

Luann you have a hard life. Frank and Nancy are to busy to throw a compliment Luann way.

Calling their child “lazy” is one of the worst things parents can do to their child.

Too bad Luann’s parents never seem to have complimented or appreciate any of her good qualities. I would give everything to have a daughter like Luann. Oh wait, I do. And I have given everything. And she appreciates it. And it’s totally worth it…

It is amazing the nervous system gets so much done at such slow speeds.

This strip had to have drawn a long time ago. Bernice is out of costume and back into character.

Nerve impulses sound like they’re fast, but they’re really pretty slow. The largest land animal ever was the Argentinosaurus, which was about 40 meters (131 feet) long. If an F1 race car drove over its tail, it would have passed it completely before the dinosaur knew anything had happened.

Room doesn’t look so bad this time. And that looks like a Sprite or something like it, that’s easy to wipe up if it spills.

Bernice is better suited to be a psychiatrist than a psychologist. Maybe she finally understood it and started studying more medical stuff? And yes, bless you Luann♡.

My nails must grow slower than most. I trim them every 2 months and cut off

1/4 inch. That is less than 2 inches a year.

Just got here myself – was over at the other house and started to do the last half of the attic insulation at about 10 PM last night after the attic cooled down. Finished the last of it by 6:30 AM this morning, so needless to say, after coming home and taking a shower, I hit the bed at about 7:30 this morning and got up at noon. Sure a lot better working in the attic at night…
