I hate those TV commercials that claim “There’s nothing worse than a dead battery.” I often respond with how about a dead kid? There are a lot of things “worse”

He meant “serious like a broken leg”.

She just didn’t want to leave her fish behind.

Goldfish are carp, an invasive species that will eat just about anything.

Thankfully, Sunny’s rule-breaking is pretty tame. She’s a good kid and shouldn’t be punished too harshly. A good sit-down and maybe some of her allowance to go towards a donation to the camp?

Didn’t they ever go into Sunny’s room to feed her goldfish?

This sounds really esagerate.

Somebody needs to remind Ms. Rules-are-RULES just what “serious” really means – broken bones, near drowning, ACTUAL drowning, snake bite, etc.

She needs to lighten up.
