There were actually two people who commented in the November 18, 2021 comic strip that mentioned those town’s names, go on the comment “CRWTH could be a Polish word” and see the replies, you’ll see what i’m talking about.

Microscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is a real disease. According to Wikipedia, microscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is " a word coined by the then president of the National Puzzlers’ League, Everett M. Smith, as a synonym for the disease known as silicosis. It is the longest word in the English language published in a dictionary, Oxford Dictionaries, which defines it as ‘an artificial long word said to mean a lung disease caused by inhaling very fine ash and sand dust’."

To save you the time of looking up the New Zealand hill’s name, Wikipedia says it means: “The summit where Tamatea, the man with the big knees, the slider, climber of mountains, the land-swallower who travelled about, played his kōauau (flute) to his loved one”.

And here I thought filling out your town’s name in ANY form whatsoever was hard when its only “Mississauga” or “Punkeydoodle’s Corners”! Heck, no form ever gives you enough room to put in any town name with more than ten letters.

As I mentioned in a couple of comments above, neither of those places has the longest name. The real record holder is the city of Bangkok, whose full name is Krungthepmahanakhon Amonrattanakosin Mahintharayutthaya Mahadilokphop Noppharatratchathaniburirom Udomratchaniwetmahasathan Amonphimanawatansathit Sakkathattiyawitsanukamprasit.
