Pig! The secret to life! Not really, caring about what others think if not all the time or as much worry or panic is essentially how we need to function. Maybe Pig, if you left the rat alone for six hours you would have the same effect?

Being retired and on a pension helps with that.

I’m totally with Pig on this. It’s WAY easy to get into a tailspin thinking about what someone will think about what I’m thinking about doing. Better by far to pick goals that are good in and of themselves and then live with what the (ahem)s say about it. Because it’s true that no good deed goes unpunished, but you can always look at the fact that it WAS a good deed and ignore the nay-sayers.

Like those people who leave comments on GoComics hoping people will give them likes or replies. Sheesh.

Pig canceled his social media feeds, sending followers to Rat.

Some people’s opinions do matter.

Pig neglected to mention that “things he wanted to get done” were sleeping and eating. While “what others think” was doing his job.

Six hours a day? I don’t think I’ve totaled six hours this year.

Saves a lot more stress, too.

So does being fed up with over-opinionated A**holes.

Hope Goat has some other friends than Pig and Rat.

So finally Pig stop thinking that peoples think ham pork and bacon is delightfully delicious dishes, eh.

Pig, Rat is not a good mentor for you.

(Rat is not a good mentor for anyone.)

also saves a lot of money when you buy what you need/want and NOT what might impress others, or the Latest Thing.

I hate to say this, Pig, but keep at this and you might end up becoming a Rat!

I usually save those thoughts for when I’m trying to fall asleep… Not my plan but that’s when my brain schedules them.

Honestly, one of Pig’s better ideas.

That works in most cases, but an artist or a writer usually values the opinion of others to be successful.

People don’t spend as much time thinking about us as we like to believe.

Why care what people think? They do it so seldom.

Growing up, it was important at the time to worry about “what people think”!

I found my voice after divorce and speak my mind now! I’m free to be me and don’t give a rats @$$ what anyone thinks or says!

Your friends don’t care and your enemies won’t believe you!

I’ve tried doing that, but it’s hard.

I have a mantra “I have nothing to prove, and no one to impress.” This saves me a lot of headaches.

Sadly, the rest to undo is thinking that others care.

Pig has been talking to Rat too much.

He has known Rat too long.

That’s actually rather sad for Pig.

Getting to be more like Rat

It does help.

Pig’s Plan is actually not so bad. Too many of us spend too much time worried about what others think or say.

Just do it!
