He probably just needs the Allen wrench that came with it to unjam its works. Fits the underside and then work it back and forth until the grinding blades move again. If that doesn’t work, call the repair guy.
Our house was built in 2013. We bought the house in 2017 because we did not want to take the time to build our own. In early 2018 our contractor special disposer died. As did our dish washer and the water heater. The first time we attempted to light out gas fireplace, it died.
I installed a new garbage disposal a few months ago. The old one lasted twenty years. “Fixing” it with a fork means you’ve crammed too much waste in it.

You can’t fix it with an Earl.

Before that, Earl was using it to fix the toaster. That’s why his two hairs are standing on end.

Process of elimination. Must rest, recover, and regroup before making another attempt.

He should have put it in “The Junk Drawer.” Mixed in that morass, it might not have been found by Opal for years.

Earl knows better. Just roll it up in paper and stuff it in the wastebasket.

If their city offers compost bin service get rid of the disposal (may have to pay a plumber to remove disposal change the pipes).

What is this “WE” crap..??
monya_43 over 2 years ago
That must be the “royal” we that Earl is using. Opal had nothing to do with the destruction of the fork in the non-fixing of the garbage disposal.

If you eat off of it or use it for food prep, it’s not an appropriate tool.
