So, Art Dekko doesn’t have a smartphone & Sue Reel evidently doesn’t have an office wastebasket. However, she does seem to have a calculator that looks like vintage Texas Instrument, circa 1976. Dekko’s office is the biggest back-in-time machine since Diet Smith’s time travel. drone.
The problem with today’s strip is that YESTERDAY sue CLEARLY handed the note to Art, so HOW did the post it note end up on the side of the register/calculator?

Good morning™, everyone!
Good job, “detective” Blaze! Now that she has photographed Paul’s last name, it should make it much easier to find out who he is.

Good morning™, note “takers” !
Blaze is one slick operator, just hope there are no cameras that Art can review tapes on.

Looking at panel 3 a 2nd time it looks more like Blaze is holding a small open plastic frame instead of a cell phone.
Poorly drawn by Shelley. (Please put down your pitchforks all you Shelley Groupies!)

Did they forgot to put in a strip, or did someone or Mike once again saw the time and have to rush to the end?

I find the art a little weird. It took me a bit to figure out what was going on.

Fantastic strip today. Excellent use of the “empty space” between the panels. Beautiful sequential art.

IMO, the art today is great. So is the undercover work by Blaze, who as it turns out (panel 2) actually does have boobs.

Hmm, maybe Sue had to go to the restroom. Blaze does not come across as a shoplifter. There must be a we trust our customers policy in effect.

Crime in the city
It’s really such a pity
We shake our heads in such deep despair
Too many are abused
And feelings are misused
It always feels like no one really cares
Tracy and the team
Despite how grim it seems
Will always work to solve every case
They’re always on the look
To lock up every crook
Determination written on each face
Yet on this Christmas day
It’s neglectful not to say
There’s only one who saves us all within
Baby Jesus on this day
Came down to show the way
To love us and forgive us of our sin
The greatest gift this day
Is the love that comes our way
When we let Him in our hearts and in our life
Christmas cheers to you all
Be filled with joy and not with woe
On this day that honors baby Jesus Christ
