I’m an old-fashioned leftist: I refuse to ignore one side’s crimes because the other side’s crimes are worse!

Dumb + good = okay, but may need help

Dumb + evil = will physical hurt you

Smart + good = best combination

Smart + evil = will rob you by trickery

I think Rat is painting people using too broad of a brush!

There are good and bad people, but those are the extremes. Rat might be atone extreme.

I don’t even know how to nuance…

Most people are nuanced, eh! How about a man who avoided alcohol, save for a bit of white wine at celebrations, eschewed red meat and ate fish for protein, enjoyed tea parties. Sounds like decent sort, eh! His first name was Adolf.

Since good is a moving target based on culture, age, century and other factors, can we please get an official definition of ‘good’. Also, if we believe ‘good’ people go to Heaven, then we’ll also need a scoreboard to make sure that we’ve done more good than bad. That’ll give us a chance to start making up any deficit.

In Rat’s mind, he’s the only good person in the world.

I may as well start talking to a brick wall. It listens better than Rat.

It’s pretty easy – people in real life are mostly good, people on TV are mostly bad. I’m not sure about humanized animals in comic strips.

After looking at the many comments, I suggest moving Goat left under “good” and add Rat under “bad”.

Worse yet, we’re getting into the habit of judging Everything as good or bad when usually it’s just a matter of different preferences.
