Nah, it’s simple, Opal: since it’s a “children’s” book, add sex, violence and racist remarks. Then, it will be (properly) banned, and the WHOLE WORLD will buy it! Sad but true.
Well Opal, aren’t you going to smack your sister? Knock her and her chair over? Perhaps whack her across the face with a book? That’s certainly what we’ve seen her do to Earl (& more) for saying something like that. Crane must only think it’s funny to hit men
The widespread popularity of the Internet did to writing what “the pill” did to the sex industry. It’s hard to sell a story with so many giving it away. :)

Did Jason Snake Lover once send his manuscript to seven different publishers who all rejected it?

She’s taking the steps out of order. First you need an agent, then a publisher.
hariseldon59 over 1 year ago
Probably would have been if she’d sent it to more publishers.

It’s amazing how fast everything happens these days. It was only one week ago, that she first announced that she was going to write a children’s book:

Well, a story written by a cat probably isn’t very amusing, if readable at all.

I thought a book needs to submitted vis an agent in order for the publisher to even consider it.
