But, “how to hunt Lupin!”

I love the little ones. Ora Z has her first big expose on snacks. I really love the attack mode they unleash on Lupin, but Mom Cat having a spa moment is the best. This is why we love Pucky!

At least Pucky can enjoy his “spa” moment without a bunch of pesky humans banging against the door calling out, “Cat! Cat! Cat!”

I had a lightning bug, as they’re called here, get into the house and when it was dark out the blasted thing started blinking and flying about the living room.

My two went into berserker mode and the trere was considerable pandemonium as they did their duty as my own antiaircraft battery. Finally the brother caught it then him and his sister fought over it and it flew up starting it all over. They finally put it out if its misery then came looking for treats after defending the home against the enemy.

Lupin sure wishes Goldie had put a comma between the words “hunt” and “Lupin”.

So Beatrix has a little brother and sister now? :D

Iggy waves his paw, ‘Can I do the, Cooking with ants, segment? OZ gets excited, ’Oo oo! Can I light the fire? I have a blow torch!’ PUCK!! Yells, Lupin.

Puck sounds a little like a starship captain who had endured a most tortuous ordeal:

The little ones are quite a handful! The boys and Goldie will get more rest when they grow up a bit more.

Now that Monroe is just over a year old, he doesn’t attack every little (and large) thing. He does still tear through the house and bounce off stuff, but it’s not as often, and he doesn’t crash as hard. Going on patrol through the house is a favored activity now. He still simply must have his sheet fight every morning with Grandpa. Grandpa is thrilled that Monroe has bonded with him.

There’s also Sophia,Tommy,Tabitha,Sir Figaro Newton and Burt.

Notice that, when “hunting” Lupin, OZ is “rawr attack!” and Iggy is “yay hugs!”.

I’ve let in the neighbor cat Norman. He’s a cute, slick, big eared Siamese that a solid gray. I needed to know how Oopsie would react to another cat. He was good with Norman. Normie on the other hand was the hissy one. Oopsie will get another brother panther, just not yet. We both need time, just not too long a time.

What is the green thing with straps (?) in panels 2, 3, and 5? Love Puck’s laundry basket spa!

This reminds me of another comic pointing out that the responsibilities of parents have grown while the standard number of parents remains the same. Iggy and Ora Zella definitely seem to need four, especially if two are offering conflicting strategies (how long before the “How to hunt Goldie” lesson).

Even Mom Cats need a break from kitten-sitting occasionally.

Lupin needs to compose a “Ant Treats” jingle!
