They will find that if pushed far enough someone will push back and make them the torch of liberty instead of the stooges of the rich; they become the foundation of the preplanned civil war; the suckers of martyrdom. One change though; those influencing them are known and will not be able to run fast enough or far enough to escape what they have been sowing. No one wins when plotting destruction is the goal

If destruction is the goal and destruction is achieved, then by definition the destruction plotters won.

‘Cesspool of corruption’: Dems reintroduce bill to impose Supreme Court term limits

Condemning the right-wing majority on the U.S. Supreme Court as corrupt and “heavily politicized,” U.S. Reps. Ro Khanna and Don Beyer on Friday reintroduced legislation to impose term limits for the nine justices in order to “restore judicial independence.”Hours after the court ruled that businesses can refuse services to LGBTQ+ people and struck down President Joe Biden’s student loan debt relief program, Khanna (D-Calif.) said that the framers of the Constitution established lifetime appointments for justices on the nation’s highest court in order “to ensure impartiality,” but recent rulings by the six right-wing members of the panel’s supermajority have not held up that standard.

Society is still progressing and the Republican Party and Court is moving in the opposite direction.

SCOTUS has declared, by judicial ruling that racism no longer exists in this country. What next: poverty no longer exists here in the People’s Democratic Republic? How about making gun violence “fake news?”

It makes you wonder what other “wishful thinking” the court is capable of deluding itself into.

Visit the SCOTUS gift shop, where you can buy your very own justice. Prices aren’t listed, because if you need to ask, you can’t afford one.

GOP Knew what they were doing stacking all the courts so they would rule in their favor!

    REMEMBER THIS WHEN VOTING!

How is 6 gop and 3 Dems a fair and balanced justice system?

Three-4 of the gop justices are as crooked as they come!

Why isn’t something being done? WTF?

Hardly.. if the Supreme Court was at all concerned which way the wind blows they would not be ruling the way they are.

Looks like “Justice” is holding her sword wrong. She’ll wind up cutting her fingers off if she squeezes to tightly. Oh, by the way, shouldn’t the wording on the base of the stature have the word “White” in front of “Supremist”? Just wondering.

I truly doubt the recent SCOTUS decisions including Roe, are creating any more Republican voters. Looking forward to voting in 2024.

Anyone who believes this ACTIVIST Supreme Court is blind in their pursuit of Justice obviously isn’t paying attention,

The SC has ruled against accepted precedent in the Dobbs abortion case even though they maintained during confirmation hearings that “precedent” was their “deeply rooted belief”, and accepted the 303 Creative case, which was based on a totally hypothetical case, even though they rejected any questions based on “hypotheticals” during their confirmation hearings – obviously, interviewing for the Supreme Court makes no sense because prospective judges put forth by republicans will lie through their teeth to be appointed (and Thomas, in 1983, praised “Affirmative Action” to the heavens as being one of the reasons he was able to rise so far in the Judiciary ).

I think the various judicial courts have made quite a case for NOT appointing ANY judge for an unlimited term on “the bench”…

for every judge that rules in favor of American Progress, we have at least two whose only goal is to screw the populaseAnyone who believes this ACTIVIST Supreme Court is blind in their pursuit of Justice obviously isn’t paying attention,

A woman who has never created a website, let alone one for wedding announcements, used a person’s name and contact information to allege that that person wanted her services for his (“Stewart’s”) wedding to “Mike”. Turns out that Stewart does exist; he does not know Mike, and he is already married (to a woman, having a child with her) and never asked that woman to do anything for him.

Somehow, a person with no standing, showing no harm, not even owning the business she professes to want to start, manages to have enough money and pull to bring her case through lower courts all the way to the US Supreme Court. Talk about Dark Money…oh, yeah, Citizen’s United….this court’s rep will be forever tainted.

SCOTUS tells us that since her beliefs are strict, her business can legally discriminate which clients she chooses to serve.

Cue the restaurant signs that say “No Musicians or Jews”, the corner bar’s “No Muslims”, and the apartment complex’s “no Blacks” (or maybe they’ll find a more colorful word).

Come on, it’s a closely held belief; it’s my morals. I mean, I don’t care if they exist or not, but my religion/belief system just tells me that they are people whose morals don’t meet my standards. I have a right to discriminate, because my supreme being tells me so.

    Beyond disgusting.

I don’t understand all the screaming about student debt relief.1. Biden could not legally give away money the way he tried without approval of Congress.2. It was nothing but vote buying. Vote for me and I will give you money. Against the law! If this many “students” can’t understand this, we are in big trouble.
