Very slow news day.

I got a shoe I’ll sell you.

But I don’t see any ads for socks.

Maybe like me, John has seen random shoes on the side of the road while driving around as I have. A few weeks ago I even saw a pair of lady’s underwear hanging off a fencepost near a local beach. I went back to the beach last week, they were still there.

What about for missing socks?

No one looses boots, they are made for walking.

Expect the unexplainable on Monday?

But, you don’t LOOK shoeish.

Right or left? Because it matters.

Saw three of them this last week. Not sure why people throw their shoes out of their cars. Or do they put them on the roof and then drive off?

IIRC, Gene Weingarten (“Barney and Clyde”) once collected baby shoes he found while walking his dog. Mostly, they were left shoes and he hypothesised that the toddlers would sit in their strollers and push the left shoe off with their dominant right foot.

He lost his footing.

Lots of people losing their shoes out there.

You can’t read those ads. They’re classified.

I’ve never seen a lost shoe but PLENTY of single gloves which has caused me to wonder why just the one but never the pair?
