Don’t make sense. In P. 1. we see Madcap’s gun go flying backward, away, with him being walloped good by a powerful Audie yet, some how, he is able to shoot Audie in his upper arm ? Did he have the secret ankle mounted derringer back up ? Telling the girls to run might signal that Mads will burst forth any minute accompanied by more ‘bursts’. Or that they need to get moving before the fire and Tracy get there.
Tracy and Sam had all the action, what was Liz and Lee doing? Seems like MCU shrank to a “dynamic duo”. Oops! I better take that back, lest Batman and Robin make a cameo appearance in the next story line. Would the Green Hornet and Kato be far behind?
1-MADSEN: FINE! KEEP THE $40 DELIVERY FEE! I didn’t make the delivery anyway. AUDIE: WHAT?
2-CHAINRING: A flash of light? Is it something divine? SABRA: Let’s go see!
3-AUDIE: OW. I hurt my arm pounding Madsen. SABRA: Was the light an Angel telling you to change your ways??? AUDIE: Nah. That was just me taking photos for the insurance claim.
I have a minority opinion today, but I don’t see it as that much of a stretch to think that Audie pounded on Leech, assumed he was disabled, and turned to leave. Whereupon, Leech shook off the pounding enough to recover the gun and use it. That scenario happens all the time in action/adventure TV shows.
First panel art is very Gouldian. Reminds me of when Brush fought with his henchman while Tracy and Sam were upstairs, hearing the commotion and trying to find the way downstairs.
All the above. I’m bothered by the incongruency of the bullet in P2 from a gun that no one has in P1. There must be some kind of fight in between P1 and P2 that we know nothing about to completely change the situation.
Just don’t tell me that Tracy came into the office from another entrance and opened fire without even a “Police! Freeze!” or some such thing. Maybe Fearless Fosdick decided to come back for a cameo.
Leeland and Audie grapple! Sprocket grabs shocked Sabina by the hand and gets her moving towards escape! But a shot rings out, momentarily halting their dash, and they look back as Sabrina cries out “Audie!” Audie emerges, apparently wounded (holding his left arm) and urges the girls to “run!” as smoke billows, ominously. He’s sort of behaving like a Good Guy for their sakes. Since he is not holding the gun, it seems that Madsen has it in hand or at least in reach and so still poses a mortal threat. Audie is interposing himself!
High drama (for a change) over the last couple of days breathes some life into this heretofore numbing arc. And it’s about time that Tracy and Sam make their appearance on the scene, too!

Good morning™, all!
Looks like Audie got shot in the arm, but why is he standing there telling them to run?

The past two days have been thrills, spills, and kills! If only it didn’t take 8 weeks to get here.

If it wasn’t for that little spot behind her head you’d think Sprocket suddenly developed super power vision skills…..

Oh great! Audie gets the drop on Madsen only to be shot in the arm from the recoil of his gun. Where is that fire coming from?
IvanB.Cohen about 1 year ago
“Run,” says Audie right into the arms of the police. This story has been one roller coaster. I have a feeling the ride is about to end.

Sprocket’s probably thinking, “Boy, when they said this job was temporary, I didn’t know they meant life expectancy!”

Did anyone else momentarily wonder why Sprocket had heat vision? Seriously, I think it was a mistake to have the bullet’s path cross her eyes.
