Now she looks even more girlish. Or a pageboy. I’m not sure which.

You told her to cut off that much

She looks like Buster Brown.

One of my favorite movies is ROMAN HOLIDAY, where there’s a scene where Audrey Hepburn got her long hair cut to a very becoming short style which made her look much better.

She’s an acorn that didn’t fall far from the tree (pssst, her mom did this too).

Moral of this story. Never talk about cutting a big change of your hair off when both the hairdresser and the person sitting beside you have their ears showing below their hair!

Uggghhhhh! Gak! I hope your hair grows fast Elizabeth.

This reminds me of when I was a kid, my dad was a barber and he would give haircuts to all the males in the family. Once he cut my two cousins Mickey and Danny’s hair and he got scissors happy and they were so upset! “We can’t go to school looking like this!” My uncle said “I can’t glue it back on!” I laughed and laughed and every time I think of this I laugh again!

I just sent this to the friend who cut my hair when I was 20. LOL

Considering how upset Dawn was when she went for a drastic haircut I am surprised she didn’t remind Elizabeth of that, and also suggest that she sleep on the decision first.

Reminds me of Farley now.

Hindsight is 20/20.

Like I tell my stylist, its only hair, it will grow back.

Well, you gotta shape it, not just chop it off. Even an old panda knows that.

The hard part about a haircut is going outside in the cold and freezing your ears

This is why I always have a picture with me of what I’m expecting that I can show to the person doing my hair.

Spoiler alert: Mom will say, “You CUT your hair?” and she will reply, ’No, I just reached inside my head and pulled in the slack."

Real change comes from the inside Elizabeth, not just the wrapping paper.

Probably she should have gone a few inches at a time and asked if Elizabeth wanted her to stop or keep going. On the other hand, she works for tips and her time is money, so I can see why she wouldn’t want to do that.

When my sister was a teenager she had hair down to her butt. She was supposed to be getting a trim. They cut off 10 inches! She came home in tears. She wasn’t the emotional type, so that was really weird for 8 year-old me to see, hence it is still in my memories 40+ years later.

Guess I am the dissenter today. I think Elizabeth’s new hairstyle looks good.

As one of my favorite stylists once said, “It’s just hair; it grows out.”

Lizzie it will grow back!

A good strip could be where a full-grown Elizabeth does not have much money. She sells her hair to a wigmaker to get money to buy a watch fob. Anthony comes home to say he sold his gold watch to buy fancy combs for Elizabeth.

The difference between a bad haircut and a good haircut…two weeks.

My wife grew her hair long once during a short time during our 43+ years of being married. I prefer long hair, but I don’t have to take care of it, so I do my best not to comment one way or another.

So much for Banzai!
