FB, first human in space. Unfortunately, she didn’t achieve escape, much less orbital velocity and we won’t be lucky enough for her to burn up on reentry!

Finally! Someone stood up for the snake! Most snakes are nonpoisonous and are a beneficial species. They keep us from being up to our necks in mice.

I first saw this strip in a paperback collection. However, the paperback did not include the 8/26 strip. It makes a good deal more sense WITH that strip…
