Splinge! Way to go, Grog! I love you. See what you can do for that poor pulverized snake. Looks like she started at the tail and didn’t get to the head.
WOO HOO!!!! Somehow missed the original print 3/7/66. Have been waiting all these years to see The Fat Broad get hers for beating up The Snake. WOO HOO!!!! I say, WOO HOO!!!!
FB, first human in space. Unfortunately, she didn’t achieve escape, much less orbital velocity and we won’t be lucky enough for her to burn up on reentry!
I first saw this strip in a paperback collection. However, the paperback did not include the 8/26 strip. It makes a good deal more sense WITH that strip…

It’s not that Grog is a big fan of snakes, it’s more like he thinks he’s found a new type of greeting.

Do you think Grog has a certain aroma that let Jane know he was there?

Finally! Someone stood up for the snake! Most snakes are nonpoisonous and are a beneficial species. They keep us from being up to our necks in mice.

I guess, if you’re only going to have one friend, make it one who can “splinge” tfb to the moon.

Kinda made an impression of her face. Almost Picasso-esque

Ever since I saw this in the early ’80s I have been perplexed by the word “splinge” as a sound effect.
