Of course, Wicket is still trying to get Baba to love him. Although he already blew it when he left her on that island 25 years ago (was it 25?).

There’s the Baba tail poof we’ve been waiting to see!

Does he really expect anyone to believe he is looking for a place to stay?

He’s been out of the rehab center for at least a week or two! What does he really want?

In the end we know his charm and looks will go, life goes on without him.

Famous cads whose names starts with W: Wickham, Willoughby, and now Wicket. The Austen novels could’ve been a lot more lively had the Bennett/Dashwood ladies been allowed to give the dastards a thorough drubbing …

Who told Baba Mouse that the Moon was lovely? We haven’t heard from the rabbits in the current story arc, and as every good Japanese tale-teller knows, rabbits live on the moon.

Baba, the moon isn’t nearly far enough. You need to give Wicket a one way ticket to the outer reaches of the Oort cloud.

I hope Beatrix and Magazine have enough sense to know they need to keep the younger kits safe. Does Beatrix have her phone with her and charged up so she can send information about Wicket’s location to the adults?

A little OT today. Do any of you read Crumb? You should today. It’s very cute.

Once again, with subtlety, Georgia can have her characters’ faces do the talking: Princess Mags in panel 2 is angry (or at least her eyes and eyebrows are!), and in panel 4, her little paw clenches say it all!

I’ll bet that silver-tongued Wicket sweet talks Baba again.

As much as I would love the kits to stay safe, I have a feeling they are about to employ some treasured raccoon artifacts.

What a great “shot” of all the raccoon kits! I can just see all their eyes glowing if you turned on a flashlight.

As I went out to join in the battle, there was a parliament of owls, almost an entire congress. I gave the battle cry, “GIT!” Some of them flew off, but then the moles arrived on the scene. It seemed like there were 6.024 X 10²³ moles, but probably no more than 20 or so. After sparring with them for quite awhile, they shouted, “We’re not gonna git! What are you gonna do about it?"

I was at a loss as to what to do, until I heard a voice behind me shout, “When Princess Meowses says GIT, you Git!” As the moles scattered, I noticed a white mouse decked out in battle gear. “Thank you,” I said, “Are you by any chance a member of the Ancient and Accepted Procurers’ Guild?"

“Yes, I am,” She replied. “Nefertasha at your service. Call me Tash. My friends Viola, and the sisters Alsace and Agneta are here to help in any way we can."

“Have you seen my true love, Growl Tiger?” I asked.

“Yes. We’ll take you to him.” Tash replied, “He’s in the battle by the Midnight Oasis.”

“How did you find out where he is?” I asked.

Tash replied, “We’ll never tell!”
