    Good morning™, everyone!

Confirmation that both victims died from a wound from an edged weapon does suggest that it might have been someone interested in fencing.

Good morning™, story side steppers !

Did I hear Sam almost say “cold cuts” ?  Love Sam’s thoughtful look in P.2. Will Tracy be going “downstate” for the meeting or will it just be in another room at the station ?  Will another murder happen during this interlude ?

A single wound to the heart, delivered with an edged weapon? Sounds like Xaviera Libris’s tongue was the murder weapon.

I get it. It’s Van Helsing, who is frustrated at finding vampires increasingly difficult, and is branching out.

Haven’t read Tracy in some time but off and on.. looked up the cartoonist working on it now and she is fabulous. The strip hasn’t looked this good in a while. (No offense to Joe Staton meant at all)

    From today’s Comics Curmudgeon:

“Don’t want this to be a cold case. That’s what I’m calling anything we can’t figure out. Sounds better than ‘failure.’ Current location of my keys? Cold case. My wife’s birthday? You’d better believe that’s a cold case.”

3-…Did you see I put some on Caxton’s results too – and drew on a bush. I figure someone her age wouldn’t be trimming it up.

We will find out from the Cold Case Meeting that “Frau Schnitzelgruben” is far more horrible than we thought she was.

That diagram,to this old timer, suspiciously resembles one from the 1936 aDDIE gOTHORN CASE.

Something of a slowdown in forward momentum here today. Will a Cold Case, particularly a downstate cold case, reveal anything useful about the two stabbing victims? For that matter, I think the autopsy report had already been anticipated; so, nothing new there, either..

But the need to “take a meeting” with the Cold Case committee does at least hint at the frenzied and overworked business of being a police detective in Tracyville (Chicago is very short of its optimal number of detectives on the CPD)….

Confirms that Tracy-town is not New York City (the rest of the state is “up-state”) and is not Mpls.-St. Paul (the rest of MN is “out-state”). Leading contender could be Chicago. The rest of IL is “down-state”.
