First experience with cargo pants is fun. Lots of stuff in the pockets. But the first time you sit down and stuff spills out or you sit on your sunglasses or phone, you learn it ain’t as much fun as you thought.
Geeze. I just realized it’s the same thing as phone trees and websites with deep menu systems: You can’t find what you want unless you FIRST start in the right place!
Love this cartoon because my pockets have been very important to me during my career. Phone, pens, bandage scissors, and other paraphernalia nurses need. Cargo pants are the best!
I have a travel jacket with something like 20 hidden pockets. Don’t wear it any more. I can’t find even find some of the pockets I put things in. I’ve decided five is pretty much all I need.
To hold up his cargo pants and get even more storage, Earl can get a tool belt. And he can add even more pockets by wearing a photographer’s vest. He’ll then be ready for just about anything. Unfortunately, he won’t be able to move with all that extra weight he’s carrying.
Went to Vegas with friends and got a photographer’s vest for the trip as I take a lot of pictures. Went to Hoover Dam and needed to go thru security. Started emptying the 2 dozen pockets and the guy said take it off. I did and they ran it thru the scanner. LOL! No film, digital, so I didn’t have to worry about that.
Cargo pockets are the perfect size for my Kindle. I should get some kind of man purse as I seem to carry more stuff than I have pockets to put it all in
Same here, old boy. Till I categorized the top pockets as normal (nail clippers, rear left top), and the bottoms alphabetized clockwise starting at left knee. Now where did she put my corduroys?
Having enough storage space — whether in pants pockets or closets in your home, or whatever — is just step one. Being organized enough to keep track of where everything is is step two.
a friend I grew up with always had clothes like this. a pocket for everything. and everything in a pocket. If it wouldn’t fit in his pocket, he didn’t need it. he always looked like he was pine cone.

Nail clippers are one of the most basic things I keep in my pockets. Not just fingernails but getting a start on opening various packets.

Load up, and it’s like hiking with a full field pack, just without the pack.

He should have first thing stuck a Swiss Army Knife in there. And then snacks.

And this is where they got the idea for “Pockets” (played by Red Buttons) in the movie Hatari.

I had some cargo pants once and then I looked in a mirror and took them off. I decided that I didn’t need all that stuff.
