I set up a string of solar charged lights back in the spring. The bamboo growing in that part of the front yard reduces the light available so they only stay lit for an hour or so.

Ever since my cousin’s 70 year old neighbor died when he fell off his 12 foot roof, none of us retirees in the family are allowed to climb ladders anymore. Kind of a bad news, good news story.

Sure thing, Toni.

Brad has no problem risking falls and possible electrocution putting up Christmas decorations in rain just to make you “happy.”

But Brad? Will Toni be there to catch YOU if YOU fall, the way YOU were once there to catch HER when SHE fell?

And Now would NOT be a good time to bring up the subject of “Having a Baby” whilst you are perched precariously on the ladder, Brad-o. ;-)

Brad and Toni are definitely the most perfect couple. He would do everything just for her, including workin in the cold rain. Just as long as she’s by his side.

It snowed, last night : (

on time, always after Thanksgiving

(but it DID snow, this year before Halloween, then we got a warm patch)

Last weekend the neighbors put out xmas lights and plastics, when it was still “warm”.

It’s raining and Toni’s hair is perfect; not rain touched at all and she wasn’t wearing a rain scarf and her coat also looks completely dry. Umbrella, nope ’cause you get a little wet even with one of those.

TJ; better you should ask what Toni has that Frank doesn’t.

Toni just has more enticing methods of showing her appreciation……

She is hot!!

He could hire a team to put up his dad’s light and call it his christmas present (there are an increasing # of such services advertising near me)

I am still confused as to why G&K let this third wheel situation continue indefinitely. TJ needs to get a place of his own and Brad and Toni need to have an actual marriage between two people. I get it that TJ is basically in the role of man-servant, but he is making the marriage lopsided. He diverts Brad’s attention with video games and other activities that are single guy stuff.

So TJ is still sharing living quarters with Brad and Toni. Wonder if he gets to share anything else.

Ah, yes, one of the many reasons I don’t bother decorating for holidays.

Awwww… Brad is still madly in love with Toni. I’d like to see how Nancy would react to hearing Frank ask for a Hunky hanging helper.

No lights this year. Hiring install is way too expensive ($450 install, $300 take down). Foot still in cast from torn fascia tendon on Oct 4.

Brad does not deserve a beautiful wife like Toni. He’d rather play video games with his high school buddy. Toni should sue to be moved to a strip like 13 Chickweed Lane where she could get good clothes, nice restaurants, and talented guys who would flood her with attention.

It’s interesting we had some posters who insisted we had to have a Thanksgiving arc and hated the idea of the Halloween party arc taking too long etc etc. I submit to you that a Thanksgiving arc would be very difficult to do and make it entertaining and fresh—-many many Thanksgiving arcs have been done to death over the many years of Luann so I for one did not mind missing one this year. Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE Thanksgiving! In many ways it is my favorite holiday because it is always low key and low stress at our house——filled with prayer and thanksgiving. But I really enjoyed the Dolloween party and I hope someone gives another Halloween party NEXT year, although without all the drama of this one. I am very happy to see a nod to the Christmas season. Maybe Luann and Bernice will both try to be Piro’s Secret Santa this year and wind up sneaking around only to discover they’ve both bought the exact same gift! Or maybe Brad and Toni will ride in the Christmas parade as Mr. And Mrs. Claus. Or maybe Bernice will buy gifts for Nil and Jack and wind up mixing them up and sending a totally wrong message to each guy. Lots of fun possibilities for holiday mayhem.
