Mad Magazine. Future Queen and total BADA$$! But Beatrix the Capable steals the show for me. That and Sir Thimblefist the Mighty Beakbraker etc, etc, and his sparking fists. He’s the tiny hero we all need!

The chickadees love it too. They’re fluttering their wings for applause!

Coming from someone who still has all of his childhood Mad Magazines, I have to say that that was the perfect ending to this epic saga.

I love that Mad Magazine is also a nod in passing to Mad Max. (“For your madness on the battlefield…”)

The Mad Max vibe is strong with this one.

I was born in the ’50’s and cut my teeth on Mad Magazine which probably explains my weird and biting sense of sarcasm and bizarre sense of humor. I loved that magazine though it did end up going downhill in its very later years. This tribute is excellent and I can imagine Georgia’s grin as she yelled “YES” when she finished the word bubble for this one! Also, I am loving all the comments this morning. This is great.

I still cannot believe that no one here predicted this punchline!! I mean, The Orb is full of librarians, professors, weird, warped, wonderful and extremely intelligent people. Georgia is a genius and master storyteller who deserves many awards and accolades. May she never tire of telling us stories (especially BCN stories). Thank you, Georgia!!! HUZZAH!!!

I loved MAD Magazine. My parents hated it it, of course. That’s what coil springs on my bed were for. I kept any and all books and magazines stored there so no one would find them.

Anyway, as requested, the story of my Around the World in 18 Months Clock.
