Nobody will take credit for that line.
“What about the artwork? Do you think it’s overdrawn?”
One of the minuses is the absence of a punch line.
Can’t wait to see how the elevator operator answers Ed’s question about liking his job in tomorrow’s knee-slapper.
Oh, gawd..
And you’re one of the minuses.
She feels like a super hero… The Loan Arranger.
Is her name Penny Pincher?
We’re supposed to believe that Crankshaft’s small town has a bricks and mortar bank? II guess it’s feesible.
this makes no cents
Crank starts waving his stinky penny sock at the poor woman.“SECURITY!”
If ya got Credit ya got Debit , If ya got Debit ya got Credit !
Yep….that is what she knows!!!!
Cue the Rim Shot Monkey.
Bankers’ humor…..
they stole this joke from happy days
Back when I was in college I worked as a bank teller. I really enjoyed the work, but it only paid minimum wage.
My spell check says pluses.
Ed and Lillian are the only to left who actually go into the branch!
OMG. This is hilarious!
(That was sarcasm.)
Even the teller who delivered the punchline couldn’t work up even the barest minimum of enthusiasm.
Ed’s trying to multiply his dividends.
TELLER: And the embezzlement part is pretty good.
ED: I don’t get the joke.
TELLER: Who’s joking? By the way, your savings account only has ten cents in it. Can’t imagine how I missed it.
Everyone’s a critic. Critiquing artwork in a COMIC strip!
Looks like we’re midway through a week of leftovers.
On the plus side, Cranky gets some lines, even if all he’s doing is setting up the punch line from a throw-away character we’ll never see again.
Banker Jokes.
