Oh. I was about to go out and belt a seat…

When seat belts first were put in cars, bro installed them and fortunately had them buckled when he went up a tree. His injuries, as well as those of our cousin’s, would have been a lot worse.

When I had my accident, the safety features hurt me the most.

Dad’s more than a bit of an idiot.

Seatbelts saved me in mine. I was t-boned by a guy who ran a red light while on his phone. I flipped over a full rotation and spun around a couple of times. The seatbelt kept me snug in my seat, leaving me with relatively minor injuries.

I won’t move until everyone is buckled in. After my head on collision with a drunk driver I know how important they are.

Is there a National Airbag Day? I wanna see what he does for that!

Dave has a black belt in ticket aviodance.

Years ago, when Italy passed mandatory compliance, there was quite a bit of backlash. At least one entrepreneur was selling these exact shirts!

The people dragging your body away from the accident will have such a chuckle over it.

Good idea! They hurt my neck anyways!

That’s why I own a couple of vehicles older than ’63. No seat belts.

About 20 years or so ago a company made and sold these t-shirts until one of the Bush administrations shut them down.

Oh, and they are banned in Europe.

The local schoolbus company has orange seatbelts for their drivers. Everybody drives up to the dispatcher window and is checked before starting their route.

There is a hospital in Frankfurt that used to have a whole section dedicated to treating people who were injured by the windshield glass. Not long after safety glass was required in cars and then followed by seatbelts being required, they were able to shut down that entire facility because it wasn’t needed anymore.

I hope he’s also taking flying through the windshield lessons.

Next he’ll be looking for invisible ink to paint his cellphone with.

I knew a girl in high school who never wore her seat belt cuz she was afraid of getting stuck in the car if it caught fire…

I took a driving safety class for a job once and they made us watch a video about accidents and the results from not wearing seatbelts. Scared the pants off me!… Once I put my pants back on, I also put that seatbelt on, friends!!

i’m waiting to see how dave paints a helmet on his head when he goes out for a bike ride…

He should paint a few the other way for whenever he’s in the passenger seat. (Well, he really should just buckle up…)
