It usually takes a little longer than 3 seconds for something to manifest itself. The more there is a need for instant gratification the less likely it is that something will actually manifest itself.
Can’t tell you how many times I’ve envisioned the traffic light staying green, to no avail. And telling the officer that I “envisioned” it was green never helped!
Long time ago, one of our corporate managers inflicted upon us a “self improvement” course built around the idea of “affirmations.” The idea was, you wrote positive statements about the thing you wanted to change on 3×5 cards, and just before bed you were supposed to read them to yourself and think happy thoughts. In theory, this would Unleash The Power Of Your Subconscious™ and in a short time you’d have made the change you visualized.
My boss said, after a few weeks, “Doesn’t work. I visualized myself bowling 300, did the affirmations every night, and my average didn’t go up at all.”
I told him he should have visualized himself as a consultant, successfully selling nonsense like this for big bucks to gullible corporate executives. Pretty sure that vision could be realized.

When I was growing up, I envisioned quite a few things. Not only didn’t they happen, but I’m lucky I didn’t go blind.

Dream of money tree instead. That’s more likely to happen.
