Any minute now.
I’ve stopped waiting, now I just rely on what I see on Facebook.
Socrates said the beginning of wisdom is when you realize you don’t know anything.
Sometimes, age just comes with…older.
Aren’t we all?
I have a point in my life where I am “if you don’t like what I am doing, tough!”
Old adage: know thyself.
Corollary: and try not to be too disappointed.
I’m just getting older and wider!
Once the pain begins, wisdom follows swiftly.
If I live to be 100, the miracle would not be surviving to the century mark, it would be that I survived past 30. Prior to that age, I made a lot of stupid decisions.
The wisdom of age is recognizing when the same old s**t comes back around and knowing to stay out of it.
Got off that wagon when they took out his wisdom teeth.
Well I see the problem, his pants are at least 12 inches too low.
He’ll forget it anyway.
First thing is, switch to those numerical-shaped candles
He’ll find the wisdom once he hikes those pants up another foot or so.
Like: stand closer to the cake when blowing out the candles.
A word from the wise (me):
Acquiring wisdom is a gradual process. If he hasn’t been doing it all along, little by little, I wouldn’t hold out much hope for him.
He apparently has the wisdom not to put his face to close to the inferno, that is those candles.
I am waiting, too.
