Depending on the species, 20 to 25 years will give you a fairly sturdy tree …swing-wise.

A few 4×4s, some rope, a salvaged tire…nothing to it!
It has been said the best time to plant a tree was 30 years ago. The next best time is now.
That being said why are the planting another tree right after spending 2k to cut the last one down?
