Now Roscoe is panting. He has looked more sick than sad to me in this arc. Poor puppers.

Sounds like me, but I normally pass the small vac in the morning so I can start fresh.

What she should say is “Marking your territory is what your Grampa is doing when he colors outside the lines while he’s using the bathroom.”

I’m having to eat some of my meals in secret because our dogs give me the same look that Roscoe has in that final panel!

We all do it. And mostly in the same ways.

Actually, Opal, it’s because dogs won’t USE a litter box.

Or Cookie crumbs. Or empty candy wrappers. Or slightly dirty eating utensils. Or, . . .

Cheaper than calling in a surveyor.

And remember, I would not sit in his chair if I were you.

Earl is my hero. I find all his bad habits and shortcomings admirable.

He already marked his territorial in the mirror while he was facing the strange dog looking back at him.

Because cat poop is usually a bit daintier than dogs.

When my kitten was ready to ready to visit the vet. It was his way to let me know…..

At least Earl doesn’t scoot his butt across the carpet……..does he?

Girl dogs can mark, too. If you have never seen a female dog prop one leg up on a tree or fire hydrant or wall and then let it rip, let me know. I have pictures of my dog. She has even done it on posts outside at the hospital where she is a therapy dog. Some of their flowers, too. She will mark right over where male dogs have marked.
