Sculptor Moron: “Let’s all come SUPER CLOSE to a CHAINSAW! No, tiny little girl, CLOSER!” Crank: “Yes…Closer…ALL COME CLOSER! MY VOICES, MY VOICES COMMAND IT”
Sure, hand a chainsaw to some passerby and invite them to use it without knowing if they’ve ever even used one before. What could go wrong? Besides him seriously injuring himself or somebody else and you getting sued.
The woman in the green coat has interesting hair and her glasses are drawn with a connection piece between the lenses. I want her and her family to be the main characters now.
Ha, ha! Tomorrow’s Panel 1 will show Cranky saying “I guess I should have turned it off first!” while we see the man’s amputated hand on the ground and blood spurting everywhere. Panel 2 will say “30 seconds earlier” and show Cranky saying: “Here, let me hand this back to you.”

Why would the sculptor ask anyone to work on a finished sculpture?

Well, at least Cranky’s back…

Panel One: Things Batiuk says about coming up with punchlines for a daily comic strip actually make it into the strip.

Who let him have that thing in his hands? Ed and anything mechanical equals a potential disaster.

Finally, Tom Batiuk adds the missing details to the story!
Let’s see, it’s Monday panel 2, then Tuesday panel 2, then Monday panel 1, then Tuesday panel 1, right? Or is there more to the story?

If it isn’t F#@%ed up now, let Crankshaft have a go at it. He will be sure to turn it into one heaping cow patty.

I doubt that in the entire history of chainsaws anybody has ever held one like that with a hand on the bottom.

99.9999% of the time, it usually isn’t, no matter what it is. Especial where Ed’s concerned.

LOL. Pm in the second panel. She knew what was coming. Giving a chainsaw to Ed is like giving a match to the child who lives in a tinder box.
