People are exhausting.

People can be annoying, but they probably taste good.

The tiger race has no similarities to the rat race.

For starters he hasn’t eaten any loud mouth little boys.

Hmmmmmmm. Tuna!

Hobbes is Leviathan his job is to hunt.

Pouncing on Calvin every day takes a lot of energy out of him.

This one is adorable. I especially like the one where he itches his ear.

I KNOW RIGHT!

If there is anything to this reincarnation stuff, I want to come back as Hobbes! (Although, retirement can be like that as well.)

The back to one ‘Calvin and Hobbes’ cartoon book, I can’t remember which one, was nothing but panels of Hobbes napping like this strip. Some of Watterson’s most impressive artwork was often found on the back of his comic collections for his strip.

Hobbes could easily fend for himself…. He just prefers the comforts of home and being regularly fed by… People.

Warning about panel 2. DO NOT, under any circumstances, rub Hobbes’ belly. It’s a trap.

Hatha Yoga

Reminds me of the cat my family had for much of my teenage years and early adulthood, with the stretching and arching, scratching, and walking in a circle before lying down.

I was channeling my inner Hobbes yesterday. Lazed around all day yesterday, barely moving a muscle.

Taking a week off of work next week for my birthday week celebration since last year’s milestone (60th) birthday was spent in a chair at a clinic getting poison (chemo drugs) pumped into my chest port for the first day of my second round of treatments. (Currently in remission!)

I don’t usually celebrate (or even talk about my birthday), but this year I feel like I have something to celebrate. :-)

Lifes is just too toughs for the kitty.
