Oy Vey! Lame story for sure.

looks like it’s finito for this adventure as Thelma and Louise make good their escape…

As they “ride off into the sunset,” this may be the last we’ll see of them, unless they come back at a later date.

Speaking of Harvey, TCM is showing the Jimmy Stewart movie today (Saturday) at 4 P.M. EST.

I see Norman Bates’s home is making a guest appearance today.

Over the horizon could involve looking at other states. In the southeast. States like: South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. Be low key, retire the magic act, take on regular jobs. Hope they got an adequate supply of carrots for the rabbit.

Is this the second or third story of Mike’s with a loose or unresolved ending of the last 12 months?

If that is in fact going to happen to the story.

Good morning™, Ultimate Disappearing Acts !

Would be nice to find out about Rikki’s baby. These girls could turn into “Susans” but I somehow doubt that. Once they put some miles between them and Tracyville and settle in somewhere more crime [killings, for pay] will happen. Rikki’s got that tint again. Harvey looks content.

Tracy hit a dead end down in those tunnels and so did we. Rising action started plummeting. No climax. No denouement. Dead.

Maybe they should stick to the main roads.

Isn’t a rabbit used to detect someone is pregnant? Fata and Rikki may have pulled off a miracle !!!

Over the horizon? Look more like under humongenormous plot holes.

This story reeks of editorial involvement. What started out with so much potential has been flushed down the drain in record time. It reminds me of the story in which Sam’s wife was diagnosed with cancer, and while the story was building with characters like the Mole getting involved, suddenly the editorial god declared the topic off limits, and shazam – she was cured, and that was that, as if the somebody pressed the reset button. I hope Fata and Rikki get away – maybe they can return when the editors grow up.

A bit confused here. So, is this it for the storyline? That’s a definite ‘warp’ line unless, say, a UFO or the Statue of Liberty crashes onto the road in front of them.

COMPLAINT DEPT: Hello?….Yes, we’re aware of the many concerns about the recent Dick Tracy storyline. However, think of it this way: baseball has its spring training, and football their summer camps. In the same way, Mike Curtis’ return to the lineup this winter has been a bit shaky. But we are confident that he will be in his best shape by the time the Annie 100th anniversary crossover story happens this summer!…No, we are NOT considering a rehabilitation stint for Mike in the GoComics minor leagues!

1-ROCKY theme plays in her head while Rikki continues her boxing fantasy.

2-FATS: Dicky isn’t very tricky. I easily escaped…AND uh, I remembered to bring your baby! RIKKI: Yes…baby…looks like father…baby hungry… FATS: Uh, yeah… what a bag o’ nuts

3-RIKKI: Where we going? FATS: My uncle needs help cleaning his garage. I figure we’ll toss his dead body out with his junk and hide out there for awhile.

RIKKI: Ok. OWWW! BABY BITE NIPPLE!

FATS: Uh…must be teething. Crazier than a sh!t house rat…

Today’s comments generally all seem to be of the opinion that this story is over. If it is, then I’m extremely disappointed, because, as Ray said above, how is this even remotely about “crime doesn’t pay”, the main theme of Dick Tracy?

Now, maybe you all are jumping to conclusions here. (Can’t blame you based on Mike’s track record) – if this were like a Gould story, we would know that the chase is about to begin, and that since the villains are on the run, they could end up anywhere, with Dick Tracy and Sam hot on their trail. (I know, I know – “if” is a huge word!)

The rabbit is named Harvey. Are we sure it’s really there?

BTW — anyone else notice that the house on the snowy hill look remarkably like the Bates house… just up the steps from the motel?

Okay, not one of the best story lines and disappointing. Not going to throw stones or kvetch. Metaphorically speaking, you can’t hit a home run every time to you come to plate. If it was so easy, every one could write plot and cartoon.
