I had a black & white clownfish for well over 20 years, who knows how old when I got it, I took it to a Aquarium store and gave it to them when I moved 4 years ago…probably still alive?

Now when I wonder about the state of my life, I can remember that it’s better than Adam Weatherly’s.

David Rush would have had a longer record, but it started raining and he couldn’t help himself.

That Ontarian raccoon: Did he get 10 years, or Life for his action?

Let me guess… It took an entire month to fix the outage?

A man went to get his umbrellas repaired.

He brought eight umbrellas to the repair shop and came home by bus. He absentmindedly took the umbrella of the woman next to him as he got up to leave and she cried, “STOP! THIEF!”.

He sheepishly gave it back and got off the bus. A few days later he collected his umbrellas from the repairer and got on the bus again, shocked to see the same woman. She looked at him with eight umbrellas tucked under his arm and said, “HMPH! You’ve had a profitable day!”

That thing about the raccoon happens all the time. Nothing “Believe it or not” about it.

I’d be pretty embarrassed about having a collection of 500 Spice Girl dolls. Maybe this strip should be called, “Is he embarrassed? Or not?”

Baby, I can’t tell if that item about Mr. Wheaterly is either scary or sporty. Is it true he has a posh girlfriend named Ginger?!?

Thirsk was the real-life home of James Alfred Wight (better known as James Herriot), author of the All Creatures Great and Small series of books.

I’m sure the raccoon paid for the outage with his life.

So Adam Weatherly likes to play with dolls. Who knew? Not that there is anything wrong with that.

That beats the Goldfish I won at a ping pong ball toss game in 1971, we gave it to my Grandparents and my grandad took care of it until 1984 when it died finally. He changed its water with tap water every single day for 24 years! That fish had the cleanest 5 gallon tank ever!

In his All Creatures Great and Small book series, James Herriot (Alf Wight) used Thirsk as part of the basis for the fictional town of Darrowby.

I honestly believe I could break that umbrella balancing record if I really set my mind to it. But the payoff for me attempting and succeeding would have to be a lot more significant than a mention in a comic strip.

The raccoon no doubt one of many animals who gnaw through a power cable way down below.
