Ah, the good olde days before wireless. Anyone else have a cardboard box full of cables that don’t go to anything anymore? Never know when you might need a serial cable for a printer. Or a keyboard with a couple of keys that stick.
Just kidding, tossed all my stuff out, she made me do it.
I still buy and listen to CDs and vinyl. Not getting rid of perfectly functional stereo to lien to compressed files that have no mid-range and sound like sh!t.
Doesn’t the camp do a psych evaluation before hiring staff? There are a lot of conditions, anger issues being only one of them, that you would want to weed out before hiring them.
I know that “uh-oh” feeling. I had a complex test setup for an automated industrial “airlock” system shipped ahead to the customer. When I got there, one cable was missing, so I wasted half a day driving across Houston to a Fry’s Electronics.
It wasn’t a total waste. Their decor included a full-scale model of the Mir space station with a docked Soyuz hanging from the ceiling.
Yeah, you didn’t want to forget any cables, especially powerCables on your MacBook back in 2000 or 2001 etc. That’s about a $100 oops even back then. Still got my 2002 PowerBook G1, state of the art at that time. Guaranteed to draw the animosity of Apple Haters everywhere. I think Taylor be right ! ;-)

Ah, the days before WiFi and Blutooth.
Thank the EU for making everyone use usb-c connections.
At least now any cable will work.

A computer camp wouldn’t have extras of those available for just such an occasion?

I always find it more effective to just bottle it up… keep it inside letting it fester..

Man, that is one tightly wound Apple drone. Did his iPhone 13’s battery stop charging?

I would think that a camp such as that would have a box or two of cables for students such as Alex. Cables and dongles and modems, oh my!!
