I don’t think she will be doing any entertaining tonight my friend. Pick up some flowers on the way home, and maybe she will let you in the house.

How can this be entertaining?

Change the locks, then leave a note on the door with the first clue for a treasure hunt to find his new key.

My siblings and I picked up the complaining about being bored from our cousins, and our parents very quickly found a cure for that. Any time we would say, “I’m bored,” my folks would give us something to do, from cleaning out the garage, raking up gumballs from the dozens of trees in the yard, washing cars and trucks, and cleaning out Dad’s shop. We very quickly learned to not say we were bored and to find ways to entertain ourselves. I haven’t been bored since 1989!

Wanda was being sarcastic, she did not mean it literally.

Try kids camp, then there is church VBS, children playgrounds, libraries have children activities, and zoo also has learning and fun for children.

Wanda – “I’ll have the couch made up for you when you get home for work. You can explain to the kids why you’re sleeping there instead of the bedroom.”

It always winds me up when kids complain they are bored. They have soooo many things they can do now – video games, 1000 TV channels, mobile phones with more social media you can shake a stick at, And that’s on top of everything else we had as kids – so library, go out and play, bike rides, fish for minnows. They’re just too pampered and can’t think for themselves to find something to do. Am I being too harsh here?

Sure, Wanda, change the locks. THAT’s the way to deal with your life partner.

Wanda you won’t change the locks. If you did then you would be stuck with the kids 24/7/365 with no reprieve after Darryl gets home from work.

Most parents rely on kids to entertain their selves.

Life is all about choices-quit complaining!
