I remember most everything that happened in my life, even some events while still in my crib! Some specifically. I don’t need an “expert” to tell me differently, Thank you!

Hobbes knew Calvin as an infant? Never knew that; I thought Calvin was already 6 when he trapped Hobbes.

So Hobbes was hanging around the house for years before being caught. Yeah, that works for me……

I have memories before I was three. Not many, but I remember when my sister was born she’s 3 years younger then me.

Yes, some things we choose to forget.

I’m thinking Hobbes is a secret time traveler if her remembers Calvin as an infant. Either that, or he remained hidden for the first years of Calvin’s life until Calvin was smart enough to catch him in a trap with a tuna sandwich.

What I think is my earliest memory is staying with Grandma and Granddaddy while Mom was in hospital birthing my little brother. I would have been two months shy of 3 at the time and I’m told that I wanted to name my new brother Yogibear.

I’m having a difficult time remembering yesterday.

Have any 6 year olds been questioned about what they remember of their infant years? I doubt any even asks.

I have a very dim memory of finding an O’Henry bar between the screen door and the front door. Not sure how old I was, though. Possibly around 2.

I remember major events from when I was 2, most involving my father. But serial memories? Not really.

I was 3-ish when playing outside I saw it raining hard across the street, but NOT on my side! Why of all I did or saw at that age this stuck on my memories… ?

Language is the anchor of memory. An occasional retelling cements a story into memory.

I recall being babysat when I was 4. the family name was Ackers. they had a boring old puke pink Studebaker. the next year I was 5 and went to Harwood Public School.

Not sure, but he probably spent his time crying.

It was dark and warm…then, all of a sudden…buncha people standing around, enough lights to blind a guy and then, get this, some goof shakes me upside down and gives me a whack. I cried, what else could I do? The rest is history.

Fetal amnesia is know thought to be related to the paring of neurons and synapses that actually occurs during very early development. Strange that we all start with more neural pathways and then strengthen some while eliminating many during infancy.
