The NRA, which strongly opposes Biden and Democrats, has a problem. They have previously asserted that the law under which Hunter Biden was convicted denying drug addicts the right to own firearms violates the Second Amendment. Are they now going to join Hunter Biden in appealing the Constitutionality of the law?

While it is certainly reasonable to restrict people from buying or owning firearms when they are impaired (criminally, morally, mentally or otherwise), it may be that the law’s constitutionality comes into question not as a Second Amendment issue, but because it is unconstitutionally vague in its inadequate definition of “drug addict.”

In any case, while the case of Hunter Biden may present interesting legal and constitutional issues, as for the current presidential campaign IT IS IRRELEVANT.

Hunter Biden is not running for any political office.

I would never vote for a CONVICTED FELON, therefore I will absolutely not be voting for Hunter Biden.

The only felony conviction relevant to the current presidential campaign is that of the presumptive Republican nominee, CONVICTED FELON Dirty Don the Drowsy Dozing CON, who IS an actual candidate for political office. It is the only one that is relevant because his Democratic counterpart has no corresponding felony conviction, nor has he been in any way involved with the problematic aspects of his troubled son’s past, other than supporting him through his recovery, now at the five-year mark clean and sober.

In contrast to the whiny, unamerican outbursts from CONVICTED FELON Trump, what we did NOT see was whining about a rigged system (despite a judge and prosecutor appointed by Trump — the prosecutor held over to avoid even the appearance of impropriety despite the tradition of and incoming president replacing all federal prosecutors) or refusing to accept the verdict of a jury.

We saw respect for the judicial system; we saw respect for the rule of law; we saw respect for law and order.

“Rigged juries” gives Pizza rat a pizza? What a nice fellow.

2nd amendment fanatics must be apoplectic at this attack on the right of everyone to carry arms. If one has to lie on a government background check form to exercise their right to buy a gun, well, so be it. The end justifies the means, right? /s

Jones’s “rigged juries” concept might be more trope than truth in this context.

republiCONs continue to claim the left is “weaponizing” the DOJ when trump promises to use the FBI, the DOJ and the courts to get retribution against all who’ve slighted him. They have now tried to turn Hunter Biden’s conviction into PROOF that the system is rigged AGAINST THEM!!

Alcoholics are drug addicts, but they never seem to be prosecuted for buying guns—and, frequently, not for using them. Once again yet again, if Hunter had a different last name the case never would have gone to trial. Also once again yet again, could we please ignore the fern?

The Bud Light reminds me of a pundit (I can’t recall who) saying something like the following: “Yes, Hunter Biden made a lot of money and did a lot of drugs. He’s Kid Rock without the hat.”
