Another hair-raising experience on Golden Pond…

On the upside, she can tie her scarf to an oar and make it across the river in record time!

But his failure to dock/

At the Lake Huron Lock/

Dashed his dreams of a nautical three way…

Stupid Suzanne stood up in the stern/

Clever Chloe, however,/

Being somewhat more clever/

Was still dry upon their return..///

The craft didn’t capsize (thank God!)/

But this “Captain” was clearly a clod/

Clever Chloe resolved

That she’d next get involved/

With the Kennedy clan at Cape Cod…

No problem; Mary Poppins can just open her umbrella and fly them to shore.

Bernice thought that having a few drinks before boating would be fun, then she jokingly tried to push her husband into the lake, and they all ended up in the drink!

Professor Chauncy Clusterbuck thinks he’ll impress the ladies with his nautical prowess. Instead, he’s prowerless to prevent the inevitable. His plans of naval conquest are on the brink.

He needs his cap size after the capsize.

Schrodinger’s job as a boatman wasn’t very successful, but it helped him illustrate his experiment.

You have to admire the boatman’s ability to hold that pose during the entire painting.

That the Captain seems under some tension?/

Having painted the scene/

Did Bensell intervene?

Or did he eschew intervention ?

He’s just showing the ladies that he is in tip-top condition… but not in any way he expected…

I didn’t think there was anything more dangerous than standing up in a boat but this boatman has figured out something worse.

He must have thought it was a pun(t).

He wasn’t able to pass the pipe later, either, since that hit the drink!

They might not have had toupee, but, what if one, or both had topee?
