I worked at a mens clohing store. By 2019 guys had stopped wearing tuxedos to the prom and opting for blazers wirh strange designs. Being the dinosaur that I am, I was mortified. Arlo, please frame that tux.
In my 40s I got wider; not heavier, wider. My shoulders are about 3" wider, I went from medium shirts to XLs. They fit my shoulders and arms, but are crazy baggy otherwise.
I was sick from a variety of reasons for three years and now the same size I was in high school. I told my self to keep the old clothes as this will soon pass.
Yes, us old folks shrink, I used to wear a 30 in inseam, now I’m 29 inch inseam, have to buy new pants because I’m tired of walking on the back of the bottom of my pants, looks tacky:)
I have been shrinking for the past 20 years, now even the shoes I used to wear when I was working are so big that even wearing 2 pair of heavy socks, my feet still swim in them
At 71 I weigh less than I did in high school, and have definitely gotten a bit shorter as well. Shirts that I was going to toss because they felt too small fit very nicely now, and I’ve dropped from a 36 waist that I wore for the last 50 years back to a 34 waist. The shrinking seems to be a fact of life, but the getting shorter is the only one that really bothers me (“Hey, my driver’s license still says I’m 6’1”, so that must be what I am!").
It’s that radiation that hit him when they were out on the boat, and he sent her into the cabin to get him a beer. Just watch out for the cat and the spider!

Run Arlo, she’s going to share that bad mood!

But that tux will be out of fashion by 2100. You’ll need to get another one, Arlo.

It will never happen for me.

Arlo has no shame.
(By the way, it was the turn of the millennium.)

My sister and I have had a weight problem since menopause. She recently started doing the carnivore diet and has lost 20 pounds.

Arlo, get the bath ready, bring the chardonnay. Flowers and guitar would help. Don’ rush things; this is an intervention.

Arlo’s not the only one.

Add some gym time to your routine, Janis. Simply walking around the block isn’t enough to keep in shape.

And that’s why you should never buy a tux. Rent them and they never go out of style, nor will you ever outgrow them.

Arlo owns a tuxedo? I never would have assumed that.

The one leather jacket I kept still fits. I sold the others that were in better shape because my motorcycle hasn’t run in 20+ years.

Does Janis expect to keep her body shape the same now as it was when she was a teenager? If she does, she’s going to be severely disappointed!
