So … while Miss Randle was out getting a police officer, somebody else entered the room intending to kill Milonga, saw Milonga was suicidal, but went ahead anyway & took the gun from Milonga & killed him, then left without anybody having heard the gunshot or see the killer leaving. OK ….

Milonga was dead on the floor. The gun was on the floor. What does that prove? Actually, that doesn’t prove anything by itself.

And there he lay, dead as a doornail, stiff as a post!

Right now my money is on Miss Randle being the killer….

Considering the time spent showing her polishing the floor it will likely enter into the solution. The policeman will have noticed no other footprints on the newly waxed floors and concluded suicide, but she will have polished her way off – after the killing – and erased her own presence.

The killer calling the police to try and divert suspicion from him / herself isn’t the oldest trick in the mystery writer’s handbook, but it’s in the top ten.

I am glad that the policeman’s long tunic spares us a view of his crotch.

And as the victim assumes room temperature….!

An obvious RED HERRING so nobody will notice he was bitten by a poison-infused tsetse fly with a tiny taser strapped to its back!

This is a good Minit Mystery. It’s good artwork and is a good story. I’ve observed that the comments on Dick Tracy are often pretty negative. You are generally a bunch of picky cartoon commentators.

FINALLY, somebody states the facts, I beleive that most of the readers are not real Tracy fans, they just nit pick and only state negative comments and use the strip to for their own ego trip for comments. Thanks for the observation which unfortunately is accurate and true, and the few true fans at this site just have to live with it.
