How long have they babysitting Shannon, it seems like forever. I mean they’re been doing this for years and years and only now have they learned about sunscreen and wearing a child out? They’re acting like they’ve never babysat before.
The month is ending and the panic of the beginning seems to have gone away. Even though she protests, Shannon listens to Brad and Toni and they seem happy to have her by their side. Probably when she goes back to live with Jonah their house will seem empty, too silent and rather sad to them.
G&K need to learn that there actually is a point where using the same character over and over doing the same things again and again gets boring boring boring.
Does early bedtime for Shannon equal more playtime for Uncle Brad, and, Aunt Toni? Just in case they want to act on Shannon’s “suggestion” that Toni have a cousin for her “tomorrow.”
No kid ever listens to a safety lecture anyway. You might as well drop the words. Be careful" -the two most meaningless words in a parent’s vocabulary.
I really don’t think Jonah wants to be rid of Shannon. I also don’t think B&T want him to “take a hike”; they just want him to schedule with them in advance when he wants to drop her off. They would miss Shannon if they never saw her. They are pretty much Jonah and Shannon’s only family, since the aunt isn’t around. I think he’ll be back at the end of the week.

Sunscreen important. The start of a melanoma can occur at an early age.

I guess Brad hasn’t learned the part about rubbing in the sunscreen so you don’t look like a circus clown.

I am thinking that the BIG announcment, MIGHT just be a namechange from LuAnn, to “The Brat”.

At least Mrs. Toni didn’t steal a line from “This Is Spinal Tap”, and say “Break Like the Wind”.

Brad and Toni are wonderful. They’re the closest things to parents that Shannon will ever have.

Look, I don’t wanna butt-in as you’re “launching” Shannon, Toni.
But is it really wise to let THAT kid get out of arms reach?
Just sayin’………, ;-)

Long unsupervised playtime + Shannon = bad outcome
