People start getting shorter as they age and the first thing that makes them shorter is the loss of their hair. Afros in the ’70s could make the black community up to 6 inches taller, then baldness took over.

That can often be changed. I have been working – mostly nights – at a local 24 hour convenience store for 3-4 days a week over the last two months. It is very active work that is hard to fit into the 8 hour shift, showing up as 8000-12000 steps on my Samsung watch and a net loss of right at 20 lbs so far.

Our level of activity, and weight and energy, are still in our control until chronic problems set in. (BTW, today is my 72 birthday!)

It’s called a furniture problem. Your chest has fallen into your drawers.

You can also call it a Dunlop problem when your stomach done lopped over your belt.

Today’s “Back to BC” is another dictionary comic … and the word is “Hip” … the Wiley definition is “the broad body part on which the hands rest … especially on women”

Wiley better sleep on the couch tonight. :D

I weigh about the same as when I was in high school. Unfortunately, there’s a lot of sagging…a lot…
