Hobbes, don’t be so logical…..
Did Hobbes give Calvin a compliment or an insult?
Calvin definitely doesn’t accept criticism about himself.
You shall know a tree by its fruit.
Today’s strip reminds me of the second chapter of the Epistle of James.
Calvin’s always looking for the easy out.
Biblically accurate.
Not necessarily, Hobbes. For example, I LOATHE Donald Trump, but I wouldn’t kill him (I lack the courage)!
Actions is speaks louder than words kid.
Maybe Represent that?
Hobbes as always the voice of reason.
“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” – Proverbs 23:7
Accurate commentary of the current political landscape
Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
The two are best when they are in sync. But yeah, look at the actions. On the whole, they’ll give you a good idea of what’s on the inside.
How is that an insult?
With Hobbes’ comment, that may be the first time Calvin has experienced self reflection…
Sheer profundity.
