You find pumpkin spice in everything these days. Somewhere, someone is trying to figure out a way to add pumpkin spice to pumpkin spice.

To prepare for a harsh fall, I usually stock up on Bactine.

As kids, we carved our lanterns out of Turnips (Neeps in Scottish) The innards would be boiled up with mashed potato. Nowadays, it seems to be called “Neeps ‘n’ Tatties”. In Orkney, it was called ‘Clapshot’ (No idea why).I personally didn’t like it, but if you wanted your lantern to go out Guising (Trick or treating) you needed to carve that Neep.

Can’t like this one. Never tried or even thought to try this stuff. Plus its getting way too much attention for what it is, an additive that might or might not be produced from actual pumpkins. Just another something to hype.

Tim Horton’s makes great pumpkin spice muffins. Tim Horton’s OWNS the coffee and donut business in Canada. Dunkin tried moving in but totally failed to get much business.

I’m trying to post a comment that Pump kin Spi ce isn’t pumpkin, it’s spi ce. The spi ces you’d put in a pumpkin pie. Apparently there’s a banned word in that list? The only word I can think of is possibly a word that sometimes makes fun of redheads? That also flavors a non-alcoholic “ale”?

Have to say, I like pumpkin pie, even with whip topping, but I’ve never gone out of my way to buy a pumpkin spiced coffee beverage … I rarely shop at Starbuck’s anymore, since there’s such a nice family run donut shop within 2 minutes of my office … ;)
