And then they’re the walk to the kitchen counter to make the sandwich, the walk back to the fridge to put the ham and cheese back, the walk to the sink to drop the dirty dishes for the wife to clean…

Well, and since when do women think, Opal?

I’m sorry, but I draw the line at personal attacks.

I mean, sometimes I’m watching TV upstairs. Up and down, every single time I need another beer, and/or salted snacks.

By the end of the day, I feel kinda dizzy and light-headed, not to mention somewhat sleepy.

It depends upon how far the fridge is from the couch. Three-quarters of a mile would mean a mile and a half walk, round trip, whenever you wanted a cold one.

Then you might as well move the couch into the kitchen. You’ll be able to keep an eye (nose) on the fresh cookies as well.

So husband was out of town on an Honor Flight to DC and texted me to ask what I’d been doing. Told him I’d gone for a mile walk because the weather was beautiful. His reply, “On purpose!” It actually did make me laugh. Need to walk more.
