Yeah just what me expect. Notheeng. We still gets notheeng as to what be going on and get just dragging on this for longer with useless banter. What a waste time and precious three panels a day daily comics space. Me bets all this build up is going to ends in disappointing climax with loose threads hanging all over the dangnabbit two foxy building.

Where do we go from here? Shady thing going on in the building trade here?

Dad acted suspicious when informed of a fake employee ID and waved it off.

Tracy had no logical reason to focus on the fake Totten badge and to peer at the clock tower with suspicion. (But logic hasn’t been important in the strip for years.)

Dad is acting suspicious today. If he believes there is no problem at the work site he would have no reason to be concerned that Tracy was talking with the city’s building code inspector — one wonders why he even would have been told.

Assuming there is any logic in the plot.

Although the suggestion of firestrike1 — that Dad has been replaced by a bug-eyed mutant and no one noticed can’t be ruled out.

(In the pulp magazines the Shadow, Doc Savage, and the Avenger were all the heroes who had to power to disguise themselves completely in a few minutes and no one ever noticed.)
